I'm burned out on BF4. I try to join when people are playing but really only when I'm not sure what I want to play. As much as BF1 is frustrating I'd rather play that then more BF4.  

Just my 2 cents.

As if the game isn't buggy enough they have to screw us with servers too.  I hope everyone cancels the rentals, send them a message.  This is BS.

Ok so I finally found the problem...  2-step verification.  Seeder is working!

Well, forwarding the ports did nothing. Using the plugin, chrome doesn't work, but I'm really just wanting the seeder to run.  I'm again forever stuck with the "Joining Server" notice.  Do I need to put that plugin somewhere in the application directory?  It didn't yell at me that I didn't have it, but I wasn't prompted to Allow or Run it either (from within the seeder).

Ok I think I've got it.  I just remembered that I got a new modem from Bell and it doesn't open ports properly through upnp.  So I had rules created to forward ports.  I'm thinking that's what it is.

So, my question is: It says to forward these ports: UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300 TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 17502, 20000-20100, 22990, 42127

I'm not sure if it's safe to do this or not, please advise.

So I can't seem to run  bf4 until I manually execute BF4WebHelper.exe, which launches chrome.  I can then join a server... For a bit.  Then I need to re launch the program to get it to work again.

As a side effect I can't SEED at ALL.  Which is more concerning.

I've tried everything I can think of.  I verified my game multiple times.  I then deleted all the web helper files and verified my game.  That got them to re-download and re-install but the issue persists.  I also had to re-install punkbuster.  There's something really wrong, I'm not sure what to do.  

Any suggestions?

I donate every month and if all we can do is spam advertising then I think that we'd be better off talking to blueberries about ATR. Ever read /r/battlefield?  A lot of players HATE the advertising spam on servers. I think we'd be better off talking to people. Now all that said, if we have control then I say go big. If all we can do is have our name in the server listing and/or spam in game then I say save our money, get a couple for the name awareness but nothing crazy. Just my opinion though. 

If you looked at the filters in the beta it seems like we can at least restrict weapons so a pistol only server is doable but if that's all the control we have I'm going to be double checking the great game guarantee or just simply cancelling the preorder. 

So I have the development version of the seeder that I customized to my liking, however, it doesn't seem to work anymore.  Not sure what I did, but if someone could kindly post a URL that works to download the seeder I'd appreciate it so I can get seeding again.

Well everyone is back in TS, so...

I vastly prefer discord.  I like the banter we can have in the chat channels too.  I use it a lot to play other games as well.

Well if I wasn't so dense I would've remembered that it doesn't seed when the servers are full...

So I had to reinstall everything as per my computer issues.

I can't get the seeder to work.

I hit seed, and nothing happens.  Is there a pre-requisite that we all probably have under normal circumstances, but I don't?

Bros laptop is down. Hasn't had a PC in years. I'm going to run Spinrite on the hdd see what's up. Contacted gigabyte still nothing from them in 2 days. Great support. 

No idea. Sometimes it just goes black. I guess I wiped out windows for no reason. RIP gaming PC. It was fun.  Not sure what to do now. I can't really afford to buy a board and have that not be whats wrong. In the bios everything was getting the right voltages. Really not sure.

Can't roll back bios won't let me I tried that. 

I ran memtest. No errors at all. Combined with the issues with the graphics card I think I need to get a new mobo. Especially since wiping out windows I still get BSOD. So it can't be drivers. 

Gave up and tried to reinstall windows.  Still getting BSOD just trying to expand files during setup.

So using the onboard graphics, it loads, then the screen flashes to black, then the progress stops and nothing works but to turn it off if that helps at all.

Went into automatic repair, and then I got a blue screen and the screen was kinda fucked up and said something about a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION  another time MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. 

So now it boots into Windows every once in a while, and then the keyboard and mouse don't work.

So I went to visit Happy last weekend.  When I got there, my PC wouldn't boot.  Turns out moving the graphics card into the other slot worked.  Get home, same issue.  I swap it around a few times and eventually the computer boots.  Turn off the computer and the problem happens again.  So I contact Nvidia about this new 1080 I bought.  Their tech support says update my BIOS.  I do.  Now, the computer will start loading Windows 10, then the spinning circle just stops.  I reset the BIOS again, loaded up "Optimal Settings" and I still have no luck.  Tried putting my 970 back in, now I get no monitor at all.  Put the 1080 back in, rinse, repeat, spinning circle then nothing.

I tried making an install USB to try and repair windows, but that won't seem to load either.

WTF?!?!?!
